Skills That Save Lives: Another OFF ROAD Training Complete!

Ukrainian FireFighters Foundation, with the support of Nova Ukraine, continues implementing a specialized training program in off-road driving and rescue operations for driver-rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Why do we do this regularly?
Off-road driving skills in extreme conditions are not a one-time lecture you can attend and forget. It's muscle memory, reflexes, confidence under pressure. That's why we build and develop a continuous training system where each new group of rescuers receives those critically important knowledge and practical skills that can make the difference between mission success and tragedy.

Over three intensive days, rescuers immerse themselves in real-world scenarios: operating 4×4 vehicles where roads disappear, working with professional rigging equipment, rapid vehicle evacuation techniques, practicing rescue scenarios involving other units, and making split-second decisions.

We want to highlight the unique atmosphere that forms during training. Rescuers come from different corners of Ukraine. Different experience, different challenges in their regions. But within three days, they become a cohesive team where everyone understands their role, trusts their colleagues, and knows: in a critical situation, there will be a professional nearby they can rely on.

It is precisely this team synergy, multiplied by technical skills, that makes our rescuers truly effective.

Participants received certificates and sets of professional rigging equipment, which will immediately go to serve on the frontline of rescue work after the training.
