The Ukrainian FireFighters Foundation has handed over two armoured four-wheel drive vehicles to the rescuers of Donetsk Oblast!

In total, this is the fifth armoured vehicle donated by the Foundation.

The two armoured Land Rover Defender Snatch vehicles were purchased, equipped and delivered to Ukraine thanks to the financial support of American donors CAF America and the participation of the British company North Fire.

The vehicles were restored and upgraded at the North Fire UK production facility under a NON PROFIT CONTEXT principle. The Defenders received military-grade armor, armored run-flat tires, onboard LiFePO energy storage systems, and a 220 Volt power supply. The interior is organized to allow for the transport of recumbent individuals, including on stretchers when necessary.

The enemy deliberately targets rescuers and has repeatedly attacked both rescuers themselves and civilians during evacuations in armored vehicles previously provided by our foundation. It is precisely thanks to the professional and courageous work of our personnel and the additional protection of these vehicles that the lives of rescuers, civilians, and children have been saved on numerous occasions.

The transferred Land Rover Defender Snatch vehicles will be deployed in humanitarian and evacuation missions in the Donetsk region, protecting Ukrainian lives.

We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the implementation of this vital project. We continue to work on finding resources to purchase more armored vehicles, as dozens of such vehicles are critically needed.
