Not only training — but real tools for the job

Congratulations to the ninth OFF-ROAD training group on completing the course!

As always, our mix of off-road challenges, learning, and skill development received great feedback from the participants. We had everything: water, mud, wet snow, winches, teamwork, and of course evacuation exercises.

Not only training — but real tools for the job 🚒
Each crew of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine that проходит OFF-ROAD training with the Ukrainian FireFighters Foundation receives not only knowledge, but also a set of special recovery equipment.

This is not “extra gear” — these are tools that directly affect the ability to complete a mission and return safely.

The kit includes:
— recovery straps and winch extension lines
— shackles (metal and soft) and pulley blocks
— sand tracks for off-road conditions
— Hi-Lift jack with accessories
— compressor, tire deflator, and repair kit
— protective gloves and additional tools

All this helps the crew handle difficult situations on their own: recover a vehicle, pass tough terrain, quickly continue movement, and not lose valuable time.

But the most important thing is knowing how to use it.

That is why every kit is supported by practice. Last week, another group of SESU rescuers completed an intensive OFF-ROAD training, where they practiced real-life scenarios using this equipment in field conditions.

This is about readiness.
This is about independence.
This is about the chance to complete the mission and save lives.

Special thanks to our partner, the international charitable foundation Nova Ukraine, whose support allows us not only to train, but also to equip rescuers with the tools they need.
