Another step toward strengthening the medical units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
Ukrainian FireFighters Foundation has handed over a 4x4 medical response vehicle to the Mobile Rescue Center “Donetsk–Luhansk” of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
For our Foundation, this is not an isolated project but part of a systematic area of work. In recent months, we have made significant efforts to equip SESU medical units with all-terrain vehicles that support rescuers, firefighters, and explosive ordnance disposal teams during their operations.
Today, SESU medics work under the same conditions as rescuers: damaged infrastructure, off-road terrain, the constant risk of secondary attacks, and the need to respond rapidly to emergencies. They accompany rescue crews during operations and must be able to quickly reach incident sites, provide medical assistance, and evacuate injured people.
That is why all-wheel-drive medical vehicles are not a luxury — they are a necessity.
The vehicle will serve within the Mobile Rescue Center “Donetsk–Luhansk” of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a unit regularly involved in responding to the consequences of russian attacks and conducting rescue operations in some of the most challenging areas.
This handover became possible thanks to the long-term cooperation between the Ukrainian FireFighters Foundation and the UK-based charity Ukraine Charity, as well as the support of responsible British businesses.
We are sincerely grateful to our British partners for their trust, support, and understanding of how important it is today to strengthen not only the rescue capabilities but also the medical capabilities of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Special thanks to Special Truck Parts B.V. for their continued support, fair pricing, and genuine commitment to helping others.
Together, we support those who save lives every day.
