The best Fire engine — for the best firefighters of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine!
The best Fire engine — for the best firefighters of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine!
For the first time in the history of the Ukrainian FireFighters Foundation, we have handed over a Rosenbauer Panther 8×8 airport fire truck to the firefighters of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine — one of the most advanced and powerful firefighting vehicles in the world.
Built on a MAN 8×8 all-wheel-drive chassis with a V12 diesel engine, the Rosenbauer Panther 8×8 carries 12,500 liters of water and 1,500 liters of foam concentrate. It is equipped with a Rosenbauer pump capable of delivering 8,000 litres of water per minute, as well as an HRET (Snozzle) telescopic extinguishing arm capable of delivering 4,800 liters of water per minute at a height of almost 20 meters. These capabilities make the Panther one of the world's most effective airport firefighting vehicles for tackling large-scale fires and carrying out complex rescue operations.
This handover was made possible thanks to Oliver North, our strategic partnership with North Defence Group, and the support of the Ministry of Defence of Luxembourg.
This is another successful joint project between the Ukrainian FireFighters Foundation and North Defence. Over the years, our partnership has delivered a number of complex and high-impact projects for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, including armoured vehicles, specialized rescue equipment, and now both Rosenbauer Panther 4×4 and Rosenbauer Panther 8×8 airport fire trucks.
The firefighters of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are among the best in the world. Every day they demonstrate exceptional professionalism, courage, and dedication while working under some of the most challenging conditions imaginable. We believe that people who carry out such critical missions deserve access to the very best equipment and technology. That is why we will continue doing everything we can to ensure that Ukrainian rescuers receive world-class firefighting and rescue equipment.
Our sincere gratitude goes to our friend Oliver North, North Defence Group, and the Ministry of Defence of Luxembourg for their trust, continued support, and shared commitment to making Ukraine's rescue services even stronger.
