The autumn season of off-road training for Ukrainian rescuers has started!

Despite the very high workload that Ukrainian rescuers and firefighters face today, they continue to train, improve their skills and become even stronger and more professional.

Autumn brings new conditions and new challenges. Rain, wet ground, mud and slippery slopes completely change how a vehicle behaves off-road. This gives rescuers a chance to train in conditions that are much closer to real missions. This season, we have also updated the training programme: more practical exercises, simulation of real rescue missions, more difficult routes, driving in challenging terrain, evacuation and vehicle recovery.
The first participants of the autumn season were rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine units in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Zhytomyr regions.

As always, after completing the training, each group received vehicle recovery equipment kits, so they can use their new skills during real rescue missions.

A special thank you to our strategic partner Nova Ukraine for the trust and continued support of this training programme and Ukrainian rescuers.

We continue to train and strengthen those who save lives every day.
