WOG and its customers collect Dobrobonuses to buy a fire truck for Kherson rescuers

The WOG petrol station network together with the Ukrainian Firefighters Charitable Foundation launched the Dobrobonusy project. Its goal is to raise UAH 1,730,000 to purchase a fire truck for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kherson. Kherson. This vehicle will enable firefighters and rescuers to extinguish fires in Kherson caused by enemy shelling and save lives.

During the retreat from the city, enemy troops destroyed and stole almost all firefighting equipment. Therefore, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kherson Kherson is in great need of replenishing its fleet of vehicles.

Every customer of the WOG filling stations can join the good cause. To do this, from the bonuses accumulated on their PRIDE bonus account, they can use their discretion to allocate any amount of them to the Dobrobonuses project. The company will convert them into hryvnias and transfer them to purchase a fire truck.

"During the temporary occupation of the Kherson region, more than 300 units of special equipment were lost. Despite this and the increased danger in the region, rescuers and firefighters of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, including those in Kherson Oblast, continue to save people by eliminating numerous fires and the consequences of emergencies.

In addition to the state, which is making every effort to provide Ukrainian firefighters and rescuers with modern material and technical equipment, the volunteer movement and charitable organisations, with the support of concerned Ukrainians, large businesses and foreign partners, also make a significant contribution. One such initiative is the Dobrobonusy project by WOG. The SES of Ukraine is grateful for the support of the company and everyone who joins the initiative. Together we are bringing our country's victory over the aggressor closer," said Roman Prymush, Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"The whole of Ukraine has been waiting for Kherson to be liberated from the occupiers. Under the pressure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy retreated, but continues to terrorise the city, regularly shelling it. Enemy missiles and bombs destroy residential buildings, hospitals, critical infrastructure, etc., causing fires that kill people. To help Kherson firefighters save the city from fires, WOG launched the Dobrobonusy project, which is a synergy between the business, the charity and our customers. We believe that by joining forces, we can help rescuers from Kherson save even more lives," said Gennadiy Karlinsky, Marketing Director of WOG filling stations.
